I have a server at SoftLayer which I no longer need, but had to renew for this month (a transfer took longer then initially expected).
This server is scheduled to renew on the 23rd of this month -- so you will get from now until then for whatever you offer to pay.
The server has a Xeon QuadCore 3220 processor, 4 GB of DDR2 RAM, and two 250GB Western Digital Caviar harddrives (16 MB cache). The system also has full KVM access via its IPMI card.
I took a look at SoftLayer's current offer -- it appears that even with their double RAM/HDD offer, they are charging $199 / month for this setup. However the recurring cost of this system if I transfer it to you will be $179. Plus you will not need to worry about any setup fees / etc.
A difference of $20 can add up quick over time -- over 1 year that is already $240. What could you do with an extra $240?
Here is the information on this server:
Motherboard: SuperMicro PDSMU Intel Xeon QuadCore SingleProc Sata [1Proc]
Processor: Intel Xeon 3220-Quad Core [2.4GHz]

I am accepting offers to take this great deal off of my hands. I am not expecting someone to pay me the full $179 since part of the month has already been used, but please be reasonable. This is a great deal in the long term.
SoftLayer's website is http://www.softlayer.com. I will not be managing / supporting this system, so any management issues / system issues following the transfer will be handled by them.
