I was wondering if anyone could give a little advice on AWBS. I spoke to AWBS support a few weeks ago but they only semi fixed my problem and I said I would have to wait until the situation came up again to find out if it was fixed. Well now it has come up again and now my AWBS support contract as ended and there is still a problem.
Basically when the nightly cron generates recurring invoices it successfully creates them but does not eMail them out like it should.
Every time I sent an eMail manually through the system the first time I clicked on send it always said send fail, the second time always worked. The support team fixed this for me, but it still doesn't seem to be sending out invoices.
It is most likely something on your server that is blocking the emails...
.. but the only way to check is the mail server log files.
Check your mail server log to see if an email was generated. If so, then it should be there.
If not, then start working backwards to find the problem.
Check to see what kind of mail setup you have specified in AWBS. (Look in the config section.) If it's a cpanel server, then you should juse use the general/default php mailer. (Not smtp email.)
Also have a look at the "extended configuration" options to see if there is a setting in there that might be a problem.
