    turnkeyinternet.net review

i have a server from them since few weeks now .

the server up time is 100% , support is very great and i can say they are online 24 hours per day ,i didn't need them much but each time i check they were online .

their only problem is the slow connection , i have 100 Mbps but i can't pass 1 mb from the server ftp or httpd ( tested using 100 Mbps ovh server ) .

    over-all rating :

    support : 10/10
    up-time : 10/10
price : 8/10 ( yeah , a bit expensive but they have good offer in dedicated servers section )
    connection speed : 6/10
    hardware quality : 10/10

after all they are good company , and a good choice if you are not looking for high speed connectivity , they will be one of the best choices for their price .

I'm glad to see the company has been wonderful for you. It's to bad the 'connection speed' wasn't a bit faster. Please, continue to keep us updated on the level of service you receive. Best of luck to you!

I don't understand how can someone be happy with server on which he has 1Mbps instead of 100Mbps. As a matter of fact I think your test method for the connection was wrong. I highly doubt their connection is only 1Mbps.

My exact thoughts. I'm not happy with my 850/1000 mbps from my Softlayer server

Edit: Tested with my Softlayer server in WDC 1.71 mbps is ridiculous for WDC to NY TurnKey Internet Speedtest

this is the weirdest review I read. So you're not with them anymore? However I learned a lot about them today. Their speed sucks? That's a big downturn for me man. Speed and reliability is everything on the internet.

Huh? You aren't with them? What did they say when you contacted them about your speed problems?

i don't see it weird, i can't say their support is bad while it's good.

i covered my experience with them for a month.

and if i were to review it again, i will review it the same way.

the only week point in their servers is the up-link speed.

when i asked for a termination, i told them about the speed problem specially when connecting to Europe servers, but they didn't give much attention to this matter and was only caring about making me a nice offer to stay "they actually did make me a very nice offer, but i couldn't stay due to the need of higher speed connection" .

    Sorry to hear :-/

I might have asked for a supervisor at that point, if not just to try to get a more tailored offer.

Mable yes, mable not.... Who know's what kind'a of deal they got I will not comment on that.

But the odd's are if you sell high bandwidth servers allocation with 1 gbps port's that segment will be maxed-out sooner than normal right?

Are you a direct customer of Softlayer?
(I ask as I can't see the allocated bw)

    How are your speeds?

Yes, and the allocated bandwidth is because I ordered this server in the middle of the billing period.
