    * I can't find yet reseller host as I'd like. any idea?

    Hi guys,

I really need your help find a resseler hosting.

I need reseller hosting, reliable and fast, with the following features:
    - failover RAID hard dish
    - automatic backups
    - ssh access
    - europe or east USA datacenter
    - brandable
    - at least 2 years at business

it would be also nice if it had :
    - free end user support
    - free billing/accounting system

till now doing some research i found that some companies do not have raid. then how they can guaranteed 99% uptime?

some other do not offer ssh, because they are afraid about their security. I suppose that if they hire a good security professional, they can have jailed ssh with security. Are all the known hosts that offer ssh insecure anyway?

I'm web developer. I need ssh to do my job fast.

I need to offer reliable hosting to my clients, and that clients will not call me for downtime, when i ll be at holidays.

    thanks

Those are some pretty specific requirements. Have you tried taking a look at the reseller hosting offers section? Or perhaps use HostVoice.com to see if you can get any free quotes from companies that may match your criteria.

    - thanks for the hostvoice idea. i ll use it

i think RAID (reliability) and ssh (security transfers/logins + flexibility for development) are the most important for me.

I can survice without the other features.

Anyones knows any company offering these?
    thanks

do you need ssh for every account you open? if yes then you may want to think about getting a VPS - it'll give you root SSH access where you can do anything you want but the downside is that you have to set everything up yourself. which makes it less likely for you to get end user support.

Using a VPS would take away many of the benefits of a reseller account..

yeah I know, but the amount of control would be good for what the OP is looking for in terms of in terms of ssh access, setting up backups, and branding the root of things. Just a suggestion though.

I think your best bet is to check the offers section, come up with a short list of hosts you're interested in, and contact each of them to see if they will work with you in meeting your requirements. Your requirements are too specific to be covered by the generic listed hosting package.

I assume Jailed SSH would suite your needs? Free end-user support is generally not something you get, generally only stuff beyond Level 1 support is handled by your provider. Also, plenty of providers with free billing systems. Any specific requirements for a billing system? or as long as it works.

"failover RAID hard disk" will fail one day when raid controller dies and things can be very ugly if it happens.

So the moral of the story is backup, backup again and backup some more.

If you want reliability, then you should definetely check at Cartika. They use fully redundant hardware, plus clustered servers (each service is run on separate server). For billing / provision / client management etc., there is no need to use extra software, the control panel (h-sphere) handles it!

As for end user support, it is an add-on service.

Hostgator will fit your needs, but Dallas is not exactly "east". But, it's not west.
