Master Reseller Hosting Package
I need to change my host for reasons best known to me. Here is what I need:
Master Reseller (so I can give out reseller accounts)
Free WHMCS
Domain Name Reseller under $8/yr for .com,.net and .org domains
Large Disk Space.
3 Dedicated IPs (If you are gonna guarantee me IPs for my NS, one can do)
Whitelisted server (My clients really hate when their emails land in the spam box)
Lemme know if you can satisfy my requirements. My needs may be high but I know there is someone out there who can offer it.

most master resellers usually stay in business for the short term, although some still exist (don't remember names from the top of my head) but why not get a VPS? you'll be a LOT safer, you'll have more control and stability, you control the IPs you are given so you are ultimately the one responsible for those IPs if they get blacklisted, and they are usually much more reliable than master or even regular resellers.
any budget in mind? free whmcs and domain reseller account will probably jack the price of any host, vps or master reseller.

What is your budget? And how much disk space and bandwidth will you actually need (rather than what you can get)?

Have you looked at the Reseller Hosting Offers section? You could get a VPS or cheap dedi to do the job.
Let us know if you find a host.

A VPS would be your best bet! Master Resellers are unstable and most companys which offer them have problems down the line.

I will also Recommend you to go for VPS if your Disk Space requirements are very high and you want more control/freedom in your business.

+1 for a VPS, it just seems like a better option.

I'd go for a VPS in my opinion as well. It may be a bit more expensive but you'll have a lot more control over your server than you would with a master reseller.

Go for a VPS only if you know how to manage cPanel servers and you have little knowledge about linux and shell commands

This is a myth.
We have been providing master reseller for years now.
There's no problem if you don't fall into some ridiculously cheap offer.

It depends if you have a policy which doesn’t allow nulled scripts warez etc. If you do Master Resellers are really hard to manage as you have to manage your customer’s master reseller, then your customer’s customer’s reseller, then your customer’s customer’s customer’s sites.
They are time consuming for any host. Most hosts won’t monitor their customers customers customers site, which means if they have a nulled script or similar on their site and the company which hosts your server doesn’t and they find out. They will suspend your server.
Hope all of that made sense

With a VPS you usually have to manage it. With a Master account its managed for you. A VPS has the same maintence requirements as having your own server.

What's the difference between this and a VPS? IE, the company who operates the nodes is responsible for what each person does in each VPS, and then down the line.
There's a lot of arguments both for and against Master Reseller, and I understand a lot of concerns and issues on both sides. The problem I really see at this moment, is that the arguments most people are using could be applied to either side.
I agree that some companies have done master reselling the wrong way (IE, unlimited master resellers for $1 per month) but as with Shared and VPS hosting, if you do it the right way, it can be an excellent product to have.

All of the sites are ultimately under the same host so if they are "managing" one then technically they are managing them all.
Why would any host say "That's so-and-so's customer, I'm not touching that." ? It's still on their server.
