Use a software or hardware firewall anyone?
Windows firewall is not protection enough. Do you have one for your computer or do you use Mac or Linux? Do you know that you must have a software or hardware firewall if you use Windows on a DSL or Cable connection? A hardware firewall is a router for example.

Thanks for reading and discussing.
I used Zone Alarm for years and liked it very much. I haven't used it much lately. When I do install one again, it will be zone alarm.
As for hardware firewall/router, I ditched my dlink and installed pfsense on a old PC. This is very nice piece of software.
I second pfsense. Quite versatile.

I use a separate computer running IPCop. On your personal workstation you only need to be using LUA + SRP to have it completely secure and stable.
I use ZoneAlaram with Nod32 and it works great

I've had good success with pfsense on a separate box. On Windows, NOD32 works well and so does AVG for free.
