I realize it is a bit late, but recent issues that I was made aware of with my page prompted me to finally post a review. I normally avoid posting negative review when there was at least some effort and work done, but some pieces went over the top.
I purchased a PSD template back in the November of last year and put up an ad asking for someone to do a Wordpress and WHMCS integration. Rockstar Communications and I came to an agreed upon price. After working with Jon the design became mostly functional and the WHMCS integration appeared to work as planned. He also explained how I would make new banners for different sections and certain other aspects which were helpful.
I did run into a problem however when the login box at the top of my page which was to integrate into WHMCS was not functional. I started working with them around 11/11 according to my gmail records and by 11/20 I had stopped getting replies it seemed. On 11/21/08 I received an e-mail in response to getting blank header background banners which I had requested as I did not have photoshop at the time (Linux user) and could not edit the PSD easily myself due to lack of experience in that area at the time.
I never got any of this fixed nor the login box.
I e-mailed them back again on 11/29 and on 12/4 I finally said that if this cannot be finished and not being replied to I will have no choice but to open a paypal dispute. I did, which I naturally lost because paypal doesn't do much to help people in this kind of circumstance...
It was pointed out to me a few weeks ago that the headers did not display correctly in IE6.. I wonder how many potential customers this oversight on both my part and negligence on their part this has cost me?
I just had the templates fixed by Pixelslot this afternoon and everything, minus the header login box is working perfect it appears at this time.
I just had to redo the WHMCS integration now too because it appears that in the header/footer and stylesheet it directly referenced the images from the original part of the site rather than putting them in the whmcs images area so I kept getting errors saying the site was only partially encrypted...
This might have worked fine if they wouldn't have put www in the address as my SSL only goes to yourdomain.com and not www.yourdomain.com but I copied all the images directly because I thought it may be easier for the future.
