Arrow VPS Auto Failover. Peace of Mind For $49/Mo Only! It's up uP UP!

    Greetings!

If you are fed up with disruptions and the material impact it causes to your business, UNIXy has built a resilient and reliable solution for you. Businesses too often rely on one data center facility to keep their stores or portals online. But truth be told, that is one single point of failure. UNIXy, with its presence in several world-class facilities in the US, has built a product that eliminates this single point of failure. Your business now has TWO legs to stand on! Best of all, it costs $49/Mo* including cPanel and Management! Read on...

It is very simple! We provision your VPS in one facility and the failover node in another facility that is run by a different organization, on a completely separate power grid, a different carrier mix, and of course different NET block! The two nodes are synchronized with our proprietary tools at regular intervals. When a network, power, or infrastructure disruption occurs, the VPS node takes over in less than a few minutes and already contains fresh up-to-date content.

[ Your business will still be accessible via the same domain name! ]

    Cross Datacenter Auto Failover
    99.99% Service Level Agreement
    1 GB Dedicated RAM
    30 GB Hard Disk
    250 GB Bandwidth
    Free VPS cPanel
2 DNS records / IP (unlimited domains)
    Managed
    Stellar 24/7 Support
    Order Now!

    * When paid semiannually. $54/Mo when paid monthly.

    How do we achieve failover?
Data replication is done via our proprietary tools along with a solid dispersed but concerted DNS system. No manual intervention is required on your part or ours to achieve this failover. All you need to know is that once it's configured, It Just Works !

    ---------------------------------------------------------

Why would anyone need failover when facility provide 100% uptime SLA?
Dallas Infomart, Rackspace, ThePlanet, Equinix Inc, Google's Cloud, and so on, are respected facilities that have experienced hours of outages. Any facility offering 100% uptime does so on a best effort basis. We have been in the business long enough to take the uptime matter to our own hands. So should you. No more excuses!

    ---------------------------------------------------------

How do we operate the business?
We are a physical server provider. We own cabinets and cages in several facilities. We order a large number of servers and equipment. We have on-the-field techs that have 24/7/365 physical access to the facilities. We negotiate our contracts face to face and choose who we do business with wisely.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

How long does it take you to provision a VPS?
It takes between 3-6 hours depending on order queue.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

Feel free to get in touch should you have any question or comment! Our team is more than willing to discuss the mechanism and how it can benefit your business. We accept many forms of payments such as Visa / Master Card / Discover Credit Cards, Paypal, Western Union, SWIFT/IBNA, money order. Please send all questions to sales AT unixy DOT net for an expedited answer. Private messages or posts on this thread might see a slight response delay.

    Have a great weekend!

Very interesting. Is the replication two ways? For example, when the primary site is down and the failover is active is a customer makes changes to the website on the secondary site will these changes be replicated to the master once it comes up?

    Thank you for your interest!

Yes, it is two ways. When the failover node assumes responsibility, it becomes master and propagates all changes to the now secondary node (once the latter is back up of course). The customer can choose to switch back to the original node anytime. Over the course of a disruption or exercise, it's not uncommon for either node to transition from master to secondary then back to master and vice versa.

Now, if both nodes are up, changes to the secondary node will not make it to the primary one for obvious reasons. Changes to the primary node, however, will propagate to the secondary as designed.

I hope I answered your questions. Please let me know if I missed any.
