The front page is very nice. Really gets you into the feel of the topic. But once you get inside it seems to lose that feel. The header is quite light compared to the front. I would keep the header in the yellow/tan color and maybe incorporating the corner tear again. Or perhaps keeping the nav bar on the striped bg like on the front. Just something to bring that element into the sub-pages. The intry is very strong, but then it seems to get weak inside. For the inside I would also go with the square corners on the bottom (again, for continuity, the front is boxed, best to keep it so). On your links page, change the link color to something other than the standard blue. Finally, it looks like your header and your white box don't line up quite right. Just a hair off to the right. Another nice design though.
The header is much better. It ties in the front page a lot better now. The white bg on the inner table does seem pretty bright still. I'm not sure what would be best for that. I wouldn't go too dark, but maybe a light grey or that yellow/brown shade from the header? Something subtle, but enough to tone the brightness factor down a bit.
font page a little slow from my end due to the graphical nature.
i do like though...different...unique.
on the links page ....how about a little review of the external links. it fills up the white space.
