Have you ever...
Has anyone actually visited a website they saw on a tv commercial?
I have seen so many websites advertising on tv and I haven't been to one. I wonder if people actually go to any of the sites promoted on tv. I saw one the other day on comedy central and I thought for 2 sec. of actually going there and then decided not to...my laptop wasn't in front of me...lol.

I have a laptop in the living room.. if a commercial is selling or promoting something somewhat interesting I'll flip open the laptop and check it out.
On the other hand, I've NEVER called a phone number on a TV commercial.

No but one time I ate at Chick-fil-A because I saw a billboard with a cow standing on top of another cow spray painting the sign and it made me hungry...

Yes, I love visiting websites that I see on TV. It's not usually because I'm interested in what they're selling or advertising, but just because I like to see what kind of website they have. It's generally not a very good one.
I absolutely love visiting websites for infomercials, too, because you run into a gem like this every once and a while: http://www.comfortwipe.com

I never called or visited their websites. I was tempted to check out that 'Cash for Gold' because of their commercials, they always looked interesting I thought.

I do around Black Friday time (day after Thanksgiving here in the US). I'll go to different sites when I see an ad on TV and check it out although usually I'll have the paper on Thanksgiving day anyways, it gives me an idea of what to expect
Nothing here right now.

I have, but usually just as an afterthought weeks later, and only if the ad is something weird and ambiguous enough to actually have me curious.

Yes, the cyber school ads. I'm considering taking my 15 yr old out of high school and keeping him home for cyber school... maybe.
(I belong to a few websites of some of my favorite TV shows.. The View, The Doctors, the Food Network to name a few.)g.

I used to work for a company that produced infomercials and 99% of the products are not worth it. We used to have a huge room full of infomercial products that we could take home but they were so random...I never wanted any of them. When I first started working there, I was surprised b/c a lot of people place orders through the website especially people in the central US.

My buddy and I thought it would be a fantastic idea to call the Titan Peeler people one night while drinking and argue that there's no way it can peel a pineapple.
Unfortunately the automated phone system they use killed that idea pretty quick.Rob Farrell :: Product Manager - Hosting & Cloud Vertical :: Penton

Only one that comes to mind was Moneysupermarket.com when it was first opened.
