FTP user permission
Well I have a doubt about ftp user permission. When I create an FTP user in CPANEL, I can set only one directory (folder) for this user. Yes , I know that I can set permission under root folder, but I dont want this.
What I need? I need create and FTP user and I need set permission for this user acces only 2 directories (folders) for example:
/home/folder1 and /home/folder2
This is possiblem using cpanel or other method???
Assuming that you are using shared hosting and cpanel doesn't allow you to change folder ownership, the option is to :
setting user1 as FTP home directory.
Depending on your hosting, you may change ownership with SSH.
Yes exactly I agree with ssynchron
Cpanel does not allow you to set the username other then yours

Yes, I'm probably missing something, but I was mentioning :
You probably need something different ...
