    cpanel subaccounts??

I am conducting a training class and I would like for each student to have their own cpanel account. I have both a reseller account and a dedicated server. They both have cpanel with whm. The only way I know how to do this is to register a domain for each cpanel account. So the issue here is that I don't want to register a domain for each account. I want to somehow create the accounts without having to register domains for each one.

Does anyone know of a way to do this?

    Thanks for your help.

Another way to do what I think you want is just by using the hostname and then adding /~username

that will bring you to user1's folder just as if they had a domain. Just make sure all the paths in the site are relative not using the domain.

Yeah, subdomains work fine, I use them for server status.

first create the account with the subdomain in mind then just set up the a-records first and point it back to the server's IP. I've done it plenty of times for small sites and test sites.
