Exclamation What's the best way to benchmark a unix system?

Is there a nice program out there that will test everything?

Like CPU / MEM / DISK IO

Can you please elaborate? What do you need to test and why and which indexes would you like to monitor?

Surely, there has to be a standard unix benchmark. Is it still unixbench?

We've just received some new systems, and would like to see how the CPU / MEM and local DISKIO compare to the previous generation.
