From my horrible experiences with AIT (aitcom.net)(see below), I went to Media 3 (media3.net) The unmetered bandwidth was certainly an induncement Unfortunately, they too ahve their major share of problems. the Unix/Linux servers lack any kind of control panel, so any changes or additions, like e-mail addresses, must be done by them. That's the problem. They take too long forget, and you need to stay on them. It's a small company owned by two brothers and in some cases, only one person in technical support can performs some of the required tasks. They cost one of my customers about a $1000 in lost sales by not setting up their e-mail address forwarding in a timely manner. I didn't even get an apology (I don't think any of these companies ever apologize for their mistakes).
This is one of the companies that advertises a lot and is thus highly rated by most of the phony rating companies where paid advertising gets them a good rating. I learned the truth of that after my experiences with AIT.
Any time there is a change or correction, I have to follow up and make sure iot gets done, and done properly. They just don't seem to care enough to do a good job. My next move will be to a dedicated server, and thanks to this site, will likely be able to choose a company that offers good service to its customers.
