    Need a ticketing system

Hello, I could write my own ticketing system, however, I doubt that it will be always available.

I was looking at Kayako eSupport, however, it currently doesn't fit our budget.

Do you know of any ticketing system that has a login integration with vBulletin?

Request Tracker is probably one of the best open source ticketing system available. It won't have vbulletin integration out of the box, but it shouldn't be too hard to code.

Just had staff review it, they don't look impressed, even after primary installation.

There is a vBulletin mod for this, but vBulletin.org is down at the moment. Try searching later if you can get on.

We're currently trialling it, but since it was installed, it's seems to be buggy, not to mention we've found a few security flaws

max of $20/month, we were looking at Trellis Desk, but integration with vBulletin will be difficult.

I would strongly recommend Kayako, even if you had to go to a reseller like LicensePal before you could go direct to them.

Other than that, I got nothing for you. Good luck!

Shamil, We will recommend <a href="http://www.thevisionworld.com">Vision Helpdesk
    </a>
You can go for monthly $19.99 license

Recently we migrated from Kayako to Vision Helpdesk and it works great.

very interesting, thanks although the main site doesn't specifically mention vBulletin integration, their wiki does.

Writing your own tickets system may take some time (depending on your needs and requirements), but it's worth doing so.

We have been using Kayako Support Suite for a few years and it was the best choice of existing ticket systems, but it was not perfect. Sooner or later you will miss some features, that's for sure.

The more customers you will have, the more "custom" solutions you will need, trust me. Needless to say, you can modify existing systems to meet your needs, but I believe it's much easier to modify your own code (because you are 100% sure what you are doing).

    However, it's up to you...

Check out OTRS -- it's free and has the option to buy enterprise class support should you require it. It's the helpdesk ticket system you're probably looking for, with the ability to plug in additional features, comes with a wide range of functionality, and also has some reporting included.
