    Question small mysql problem

i got a sql DB which is 650mb big, when i import through bigdump it gets a error :

    Error at the line 2623: INSERT INTO `ibf_posts` (`pid`, `append_edit`, `edit_time`, `author_id`, `author_name`, `use_sig`, `use_emo`, `ip_address`, `post_date`, `icon_id`, `post`, `queued`, `topic_id`, `post_title`, `new_topic`, `edit_name`, `post_key`, `post_parent`, `post_htmlstate`, `post_edit_reason`, `post_thanks`, `trackbacks`) VALUES (244582,0,NULL,1067,'killbill',1,1,'124.30.150.102',1241202955,0,'How To Earn Money On The Internet
it is a ipb db and how would i go along fixing it manually uploading with ssh and forcing out the error or is there a bigdump command?

    Thank you.

I think you missed some characters/line from the error since it's not saying much.

this is the error at the bottom :

MySQL: Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes

    change bigdump settings to :

define ('DATA_CHUNK_LENGTH',1000); // How many chars are read per time
define ('MAX_QUERY_LINES',100); // How many lines may be considered to be one query (except text lines)
define ('TESTMODE',false); // Set to true to process the file without actually accessing the database

    Thats wrong (the arrow direction)

    To restore a mysql db

    mysql -u db_user -p < file.sql

    To take a backup

    mysqldump -u db_user -p > file.sql

If you are using cpanel, then its problem of your username or database.

Between what error you got during last command??????

    try this with correct credentials

    mysqldump -u username -p database-name > masterdump.sql

If you still getting problem then pass on details to me i will help you free of cost in that and check the issue.
