    How do I disable log rotate?

    I moved it out of daily cron and even commented out the config file but it's still sending restart signals to apache.

    You could simply empty the log file in a cron

    mv /usr/sbin/logrotate /usr/sbin/logrotate.orig

    Touch /usr/sbin/logrotate and chmod +x and copy / paste this:

    cat /proc/$$/environ >> /root/logrotate.env;

    exit 0;

    Wait for it to run then check the env files for the source. This is too ugly of a hack but that's one way around the issue.
