    need hsot with ssh2 extension

    Hi i need a webhost that supports the SSH2 extension, can anyone point me in the right direction?

    I don't know any hosts that run SSH1 as it's insecure by comparison.

    its a specific requirement of mine to run a control panel i can't believe its so tough to find a host with that extension

    What would this be an "extension" for? I can't say that I've ever heard of an SSH/SSH1/SSH2 extension for anything as SSH is generally run as a stand-alone daemon.

    Unless perhaps it's not SSH that you mean?

    its an actual extension for PHP
    works with libssh

    Have you asked any providers who do not run it if they can install it? With Linux it's a simple pecl install so it's not that difficult to setup. It really would be a matter if the host likes adding other extensions or not rather than the difficulty of setup.

    Yes i have asked a few hosts if they could install it and was turned down by all of them so far. i am continueing to ask though.
