Cool Need an HP rails expert

I have a few quick questions about rails on our HP servers, if you think you are good or have lots of experience with HP rails, give me a buzz.

    Any help is much appreciated.

Well because it's kinda complicated and hard to explain.

So here is what all my servers come with out of the box:

    http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/3...ayrails019.jpg

I was looking to get the rack part of the rails on ebay, and there are two options. Will either of the below work?

    http://s586.photobucket.com/albums/s...sPurchased.jpg

    http://s586.photobucket.com/albums/s...tPurchased.jpg

I bought the first picture, with all 3 parts, and want to know if the second picture will work as well.

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks!

    These look like DL380 rails...

But they should go together as long as they are for the same model and Generation (G).

G3 and G4 models have no change in rails but G5 rails are different.

Close, they are for 360s. DL360 G2/G3. Any idea if the bottom picture will work?

Yea, they should work fine. But make sure the auction says its Dl360 G2/G3 just to be on the same side, but they should work fine.

Just FYI, make sure they're NOT HP9000 rails... They dont appear to be, but watch out for the future. 9000 racks/rails are different and don't interchange well at all.

So I do NOT need the "inner sliding rail"?

Look like DL rails to me. You will need the inner rail to rack it on the rack. But usually HP rails have square hooks. I've noticed a lot of data centers use circular 4 post holes, so I had to use different rails. I would recommended: http://www.racksolutions.com since I got my rails for my server from there. You can shoot them an email they will definitely know.
