Hello, I currently have a dedicated server setup with multiple HyperVM Xen containers that I use to seperate my sites and for other various tasks. I know very little about kernels so I need some assistance in executing what I'm trying to accomplish (I hope it's possible, I was told it is).
I am running CentOS 5.3 x86_64 with a 64 bit kernel on the main node and all of the individual Xen containers are running pretty much the same setup (CentOS 5.3 x84_64).
I tried to install a CentOS 5.3 i386 image on a test container but I was having a lot of issues (I changed the yum configuration to get the i386 packages instead of the x86_64 but I still could not get cPanel to install and work properly).
I was told and read that Xen containers run on top of their own kernels so it is possible for me to setup a 32bit kernel for each container correct? I want to run CentOS 5.3 i386 on all of my containers, is that possible to do when the hardware node is running 64bit?
