What areas do you focus on most?
Hello every one,
First off, thanks for building such a vibrant and helpful community of experts on here. It is a GREAT help to those new to the hosting business, like me.
So I am starting a reseller hosting business in a few weeks and have done a lot of research on this forum and on the web.
What areas of reseller hosting would you recommend a new guy learn most about?
I don't mean in a business sense, as I have that covered ( I have an internet entrepreneurial background).
But what areas, in terms, of information would you suggest are most helpful to know when starting a reseller hosting business and after you have a large customer base?
I look forward to hearing your replies.
With Regards,
Zain Dhanani

You need to know that creating being a free host don't help any more as there is almost unlimited free hosting companies.
Try to find something that will make your company different ! Why clients will choose you ? Try to proof your reliability, uptime and good assistance.

I Agree with webhost911 , there are millions of webhosting companies out there allready , you need to offer something that makes your company different from all the other webhosting companies that are out there allready.
Becomming a reputable webhost isnt easy ... it does not happen over night.

I have seen it said many times on WHT, that your unique selling proposition is very important. I have and will continue to take that into consideration.
Thanks for the responses.
Looking forward to more replies.

You have to keep in mind patience is very important, you will likely not get many sales early on, but as you build your brand image, reputation and trust, your client base will grow. It is important not to get discouraged at the start.
