What music are you listening to at the moment?

OK, what music are you listening to?

Today I discovered Hadouken! an energetic Leeds grindie band. They take their name from a move in the arcade game Street Fighter.

I also like ska, classic rock, R&B oldies, old rock n' roll, punk, 80's British New Wave sorta stuff, Britpop, Swedish melodic death metal, etc.

Basically I like anything with a bit of energy. Can't stand anything ballady, or chirrupy songs.

I usually put something on via YouTube, then I don't have to listen to the fan.

    Hey Carol, welcome!

I'm all over the map with my music taste. One day it's mainstream bubblegum pop and the next day it's underground metal. lol, odd taste, I know.

I can't get enough of this song today:

Thanks for the welcome, Mekhu - though actually I have been around WHT for some time, and just reg'ed a new username today, because I want to go under my pen name. Somebody kindly pointed out that I wasn't meant to do this, so they are merging my accts.

Thanks also for the Fleet Foxes - I love them. Usually I go for a harder, rock/punk sort of style, but these guys are lovely.

m php, I like Radiohead too.

    Thanks for all the answers!

I'm making my way through the suggestions. Just listening to Third Eye Blind - good! Thanks for that, Jacob.

@coduk: Nice to meet another Hadouken! aficionado. It must've been a great gig.

@crazylane: Yes, I like Bob Marley too, and lots of the other Jamaican stuff. I really like a lot of the ska and dancehall.

Will be working my way through the other suggestions too.

@ohioguru: Used to be taken to a lot of jazz gigs as a kid.
