I used to use a spare machine to act as my playground for web technologies and the like but it experienced a major hardware failure encouraging me to explore external options for the first time.
After reading a number of reviews, I eventually settled on Magmahost as the traffic was largely positive regarding them and for my purposes, their price point was easily justified.
Setup was instantaneous but for some reason my domain isn't active after 3 days. Their panel is listing it as 'pending' and I can try and register it with little issue with other registrars leading me to believe that they haven't even bothered yet. Coupled with this, I sent a question to their sales department three days ago as well and it hasn't been responded to.
Is this a cause for concern? Should I be submitting a refund request now within their policy to give me sufficient time to instigate a chargeback through Paypal?
Having no previous experience with hosting companies, I don't want to overreact so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Sometimes web hosts process domain name registration manually to prevent fraud orders to register domains automatically.
At times they can easily overlooked your domain registration while setting up your hosting account. I would suggest you to submit a support ticket to them asking about your domain.
