Kayako SupportSuite also has the live chat with it and Cerberus doesn't. I've used both and still prefer Kayako SupportSuite but thats probably just because I have more experience with it than Cerberus, both seem good to me though just each one has features the other doesn't usually.
The overall interface of Kayako seems better than Cerberus, in my opinion. Some people swear by them both. Since Cerb does not have a live chat function a more valid comparison would be between Cerberus and eSupport.

We've been using Cerberus for many years now (this is our 14th year in business thanks to Jesus).
We did recently re-check out Kayako as we ran into a very serious Cerberus bug dealing with handling email from clients using Microsoft Exchange to send their email to our support team (our support team never gets their email -- that's a serious bug).
We found Kayako to be overtly complex and too similar to problems we run into with managing Microsoft Windows... few consistencies.
HelpSpot can handle multiple domain names / companies (portals), has a powerful API which can integrate into various CRM and related systems, and their customer service is extremely prompt (and we are not yet customers).
Kayako is better than the others at the moment.
Its been here for quite a long time.
Its expensive though. Still Many big hosts use Kayako.
