Great VPS Provider

Dear WHT's,

I'm exactly looking for this:

A Provider with european servers.
Virtuozzo.
On dual quad servers, no overselling.
Excellent support.
As for vps:

Memory, 1 GB Dedicated
HDD: 50 GB
Connection: 100 mbps or 1 gbps, with ddos protection (we never know...)
and last but not least: cPanel

Max price? 60$ per month. The super max.

to be 100% honest I don't think there is any host out there that can offer all that for under $60 without overselling. Could be wrong though

That seems like a decent price on Virtuozzo. Not sure why you won't find what you're looking for.

Unmetered Bandwidth? Not Oversold for under $60 in the uk?
And cPanel in the price... ddos protection... never seen deals like that before.

Not sure he is asking for unmetered. If he is then forget it. I assume he wants a 100mbps shared pipe and non-oversold servers. I mean in reality you could get an oversold solution for around $30.

Hey hey, take it easy.

I mentioned 100 mbps/1gbps connection, I didn't mention bandwidth, did I?

cPanel is cheap for VPS and there are noc partners with even cheaper prices.

Regarding DDoS protection, sure. I have 2 vps in cloud servers from rackspace which have DDoS protection. Where's the impossible on that for 60$?

There are lots of providers that have a few cisco guards, etc...

Now yeah, I need example of companies, but really good ones that can offer me this.

I believe there are quite a few EU companies offering this. However, if you are looking for non-oversold VPS, I would recommend Hyper-V or Xen based VPS over Virtuozzo. In any case, be sure to double check reviews of your prospective hosts over here and over web to ensure that you do not end up with someone who'll keep you on your toes

There is no difference regarding Xen and Virtuozzo for overselling anymore, Xen providers can also oversell.

You just have to find a overall honest and reputable company that you KNOW won't oversell rather then trying to use technical limitations to stop the server from being oversold - if I can't trust the company not to oversell because they use openVZ, I wouldn't buy from them in the first place.

Not overselling and hosting in powerful servers, thats the primary thing. I don't want to find my VPS down because someone is abusing.

Go for someone that publicizes their uptime statistics and has a SLA on downtime, thats the only way you will/can ensure they are going to be up and have been up for a while.
