    New Website Advertising

I couldn't really find a section in this forum for website advertisment so I decided to put the thread in this forum.

I recently made a new website and I'm going to be putting it on the web next week sometime with that being said what is my best option for advertisments on my website. I have no traffic but I wanted to least start with adbrite or bidadvertiser. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

Google Adsens to start, they don't have the best payout but its a good start, later on you can setup your own. Good luck with your new site and let us know how its going.

You really can't make much money on adsense anymore. Your best bet is to contact some companies who might be interested in advertising on your site and offering them a special deal for a few months.

Mostly companies advertise only on good traffic sites. So I recommend first you do some SEO to get traffic, more you exchange links with other sites and add your site in directories.

I took a look at this directory website and I see that there is alot of directories on it. How many should I submit too? The website I have is going to be published next week sometime and I have not submitted to any directories yet. I have also heard that it is useless to submit to alot of directories. What is your opinion about it?
