stay away from pipeline data processing, they are holding my fund for more than 6mon
I have the same horrible experience with pipeline data processing, they are holding my fund for more than 180 days and I still can't get it back, I have provided them with all documents they requested and they claim I am a high risk customer because of the high dollar amount of this transaction they have to hold it for 3 months and put on a stagger release (every 3months), after 3 months I called to ask them to release the 2nd part, they said my account has been put on 'match' status that they have to hold it for 6 months, it has been over 8 months since the charge took place and I still don't see my money even though they have deducted all fee from my bank account already, I don't know what to do at this point, any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks
I suggest to stick to Paypal because we also have high dollar amount of transaction with them and never encountered any problems after submitting all requirements they asked to support the huge amount of transaction once.
they said my account has been put on 'match' status that they have to hold it for 6 months
If they put you on the MATCH list then thats going to cause alot of problems for you. It's going to be very, very difficult for you to get a merchant account again, and you'll most likely have to find an offshore processor.
FirstData put me on the TMF/MATCH list aroung 4 months ago and it had been the worst thing that ever happened to my business, even worse than them holding thousands of dollars of my money.
thanks for your posting, but there is no basis of them to put me on match status as I have excellent credit score and my company is still having another merchant account with authorize.net which never gives me any problem, no one at their company can tell me why they put me on match as they told me visa/master companies flag them which is no way, I hope my credit or company credit is not smeared but so far pipeline data is the only company that gives me problem that I have never encountered before, I am only convinced they said this to hold my money as long as they can but it has been over 8 months, no buyer can dispute the credit transaction that there just isn't any reason they can hold my fund, but I don't know what else to do, this is a total scam, stay away!!!!
Being put on the TMF match list can literally kill your business. If you were put on the TMF list, ask for a reason in writing to be sent to you.
Unfortunately Pipeline Data (aka Cardacept, Charge.com) has a history just like FirstData/CSI of putting merchants on the TMF list whenever the smallest problem arises. If your funds are being held, you should immediately call your MSP and make sue they are not putting you on the TMF list, as it will be near impossible to get an account with any provider without paying 5%+
Also, It is against regulation for them to hold funds for more than 180 days.
