    Centos 5.3 Kernel Issue

I removed samba and some unused other package and run "yum update" and reboot my server.
But after reboot server could not be up and i have following error in monitor screen (see atachment):

    root (hd0,0)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0xfd
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-92.1.18.el5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogddVol02 rhgb quiet
    Error 15: File not found
Press any key to continue ...

I mounted /dev/VolGroup00/LogddVol02 with centos live cd and could not find any kernel files in /boot/
I have kvm access, how can resolve this issue now?
    Help me please.

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-92.1.18.el5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogddVol02 rhgb quiet
Why is it /vmlinuz-2.6.18-92.1.18.el5, Isn't it supposed to be /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-92.1.18.el5?

    Post your /etc/grub.conf...

Are you sure the default Kernel being loaded is 2.6.18-92.1.18.el5.

Else try adding the following line in your /boot/grub/grub.conf file

    kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-92.1.18.el5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogddVol02 rhgb quiet panic=5

    Instead of,

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-92.1.18.el5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogddVol02 rhgb quiet

    and try rebooting the server.
