    Looking for an email host

I have a set-up where the same domain is used for a website and email accounts. I don't want to move the website from its current host, but I do want to have the email services for that domain handled by another host for example one that specialises in email services, has a decent webmail option, etc.

Is there an email host that has excellent filtering controls? Because of my set-up, I basically need to have the domain act as a catch-all email but only let through emails matching a certain pattern (eg: [email protected]) as well as handle the inbox of proper accounts (eg: [email protected]).

Just wondering if there's a good service out there that can handle this. Any help would be much appreciated!

No, not exchange — that's something different altogether, and way overkill for my needs. It just needs to be conventional email options (POP3, IMAP).

    Thanks though!

yes, google is the best (at least for me :p). after registering your domain you can access your email in an address like mail.google.com/a/mydomain.com

OR you can setup a cname and point it to ghs.google.com, then go into your google apps area and tell it the new url.

GoDaddy has excellent webmail and does the filtering you need. Includes a lightweight interface for mobile devices too. If you want it free and just need one big mailbox, transfer your name to them (keeping your current nameserver info) for the free email account (and web hosting which you won't use). The pay-for plans are inexpensive if it comes to that.

Enom - good e-mail filtering, but only 500 Outgoing emails per day . Totally, I recommends you to try google firstly - free, easy to use, reliable. And in case our needs willn't be satisfied - try to use pre-payed service. Good luck (:

Yes but they also have several package types to choose from, and now they have something called RitePoint that is an email based program where you do not have to have a web site. What it does is creates a sort of managing system for emails coming to you and sends emails out. It basically is a marketing system for people with or with out web presence.
