    Question Loading Configuration

    before i switched servers (to an unmanaged linux vps), a php script would load progressively. if i had a copy command, the text printed above the copy command would load and then the page would be slow for a while while it copies. now, after switching servers, the page won't load at all until everything is completed.

    Is there some way i can change the configuration to have the old way back?

    What you're talking about is buffered output. You new server is storing the scripts output until it's finished, buffering it.

    Here's the documentation on Output Control.

    i just tried that plus putting output_buffering = "On" in my php.ini, still won't work.

    my code:
    ob_start();
    print 1;
    ob_flush();
    copy($blah,$blah);
    print 2;
    ob_end_flush();

    still outputs everything together, it won't print 1 before the copy starts.
