    Google Apps and email routing

Is there a way to have google apps only work for certain email addresses and the other ones be handled by the server itself? I am using cPanel and WHM.

It sounds to me a little bit like you're trying to execute a solution that's looking for a problem - ie, you're going about things the wrong way. Take a step back, and tell us what you're really trying to do... there's probably a better way to do it.

Not within the current DNS standard, no. Forwarding or pushing is your only option.

I think it is not possible to setup in this way. Also, there is no such option available in cPanel.

Google Apps requires you to change your MX records, they would be the sole provider of your email.

They do however give you a temporary email address for each account you make, i suppose you could forward email from your whm/cpanel server to the temporary email address.

It's gonna be dirty. Best thing is to just pick one or the other.

This wont be possible as MX record is changed for the entire domain and not for a single account.
