    He has good reasoning:

Hey, i am having trouble now cause i haven't web designed for a year, and formatted my pc, so that's why i am offering a free mock up, so if you dont like it, you have nothing to regret, plus you dont pay anything till you're satisfied...

Would just like to update the thread here is the design that i have already paid for and asked for my money back with no luck as yet.

    here

The problem i had is the way its been coded with tables and that the doc type has been put in a comment to pass the WC3.

The was a few other problems to but this was my main one.

I am glad I didn't waste my time with this guy after the first PM to him. I am not sure how anyone can consider that design to be "coded". Nothing on the design was converted to text whatsoever--everything was just split into different images--which seems extremely lazy. Even the copyright footer text is stuck in an image!

Hope you get your money back!

There was no agreement from before that the design would be table less, he doesn't even cared for the text as images... Other then that. There was even no agreement that the design would be SEO, and the coding is verified, that's how it should be for W3C to make it verified, using Tide HTML. Clearly, your trying to get rid of the design because you already got another designer, halfway through my design, and published his design.. So my design is useless to you, I even coded more then 3 pages apart from the deal and kept the price the same... You have a design validated, I think its unreasonable that your complain is about the Doc type...

its the hole coding am not happy with as already talked about. Yes i do have another design but that was from the start not halfway. I did this 2 keep one and sell the other. But now cant sell your one as its worthless the its coded. Something i will just have to right of as i got no chance of getting money back. He even sent it to me with images jumping all over the place and failing w3c

Shouldn't you pay only after you are satisfied as stated by the OP?
