Resource hog / zeus from apache switch

    Hey All,

I got a customer using massive mysql resource on a shared server. Anyone here know how to slow it down with simple command or something? Any ideas are great.

I'm running red hat 7.3 with cpanel.

I know it's tech question but I like to keep my posts in the owners forum.

Also has anyone converted to zeus from apache running red hat with cpanel.

They keep emailing us saying how much better they are just wondering if anyone has tried them.

    Thanks, Charles

afaik you are sol on the mysql issue, though 4.x does allow you to restrict the connections (amount) per user.

as for zeus, check their price tag. no matter how good they are, $3k/server is not financially viable.

    good luck,
