Any way to block junk sites that interrupt your destination???

What I mean is, any way to block a junk site that seems to be able to intercept and block your visit to another site? For example, there is a Jimmy Fallon forum that I visit often, normally without any issues. For a couple of weeks now I am unable to ever visit this site. After entering the URL into my browser it just hangs and hangs, while the bottom of the browser indicates "waiting for nbcudigitaladops.com" I've never tried to visit "nbcudigitaladops" and don't appreciate being forced to do so. I have not been able to get past this for 2 weeks now. I try to block "nbcudigitaladops" with my ad blocker program but that doesn't seem to work. I also scanned for spyware, but I don't think that's what it is since this only pops up when I try to visit one site in particular. Can I not block my browser from trying to visit this other site?

Use firefox and install NoScript! Don't load what you don't want to load. Used with AdBlock+ makes for a killer surfing combo! That combo, on a slow internet connection makes the slow internet connection bareable (not mine, just other's I've had the annoying luck of using).

Give OpenDNS a try, it blocks almost anything you want. I personally use it.

OpenDNS is indeed very nice. It's also a way-cool concept, especially being free (at least last I checked).

I just love the whole typo correction deal.

When I got to google.dom it takes me to google.com, I just love OpenDNS. It's awesome. Even if you don't want to block website or anything like that, I recommend you use it period.

When I install routers or anything like that I activate it. I also give the customer a number so if they ever want a website blocked or anything like that they can call me.
