I have a good file sharing based domain name.
Want to try my luck with filesharing website, anybody can advice me which webserver is good enough to handle website like this?

Is apache MPM worker for php combine with nginx for static file is good enough?
Or litespeed, lighthttpd and full nginx system is recommended?

if u like to spend few $$ then go for litespeed webserver or use nginx it more and more effective

Start with apache. Once you outgrow that, try nginx... no need to pay for Litespeed at the beginning, especially if you're serving static files (which nginx is great at).

Any web server software will do the job.

File sharing is about the lightest load possible for a web server.

Start with apache ,
if load is high then use nginx

My vote goes to the HTTP file server for sending and receiving file.

nginx for static files very much recommended, it is super fast.

Go with lighttpd with mod_secdownload. Nginx is good, but i don't see anything similar to mod_secdownload for controlled download in nginx.
