    Orlando, FL/Cocoa Beach, FL

Heading to the Orlando/Cocoa Beach area next Monday for a little vacay. The only plan that I have so far is to see the Space Shuttle Launch Monday Night. Anyone have any suggestions on other must see places? Definitely planning on being on the beach a lot.

Depends, are you into touristy attractions? Or more local.

Universal islands of adventures - Fun.
Universal citywalk @ night - fun.
Discovery cove - Fun but expensive.

Send me a PM, perhaps we can meet up for a drink and a tour! There is quite a few WHTers in orlando.

You've got the Kennedy Space Center, which is pretty cool. Other than that, about an hour drive over to Orlando for all of the tourist destinations.

There's a really good restaurant over there called Corky Bells. It's seafood.

That could be fun depending on who you are....

A datacenter is something that I have always wanted to go into =P

By the way, if your going to Orlando, and you are young and like to go clubbing, citywalk would be perfect for you.
Not sure what to put here :-P

    Not everyone lives near datacenters

North East, South East, West Shore, Texas, Michigan, that's about it...

Seeing the space shuttle launch is a must, even for us florida natives who see it all the time, always cool to watch it.

Other would be any of the large theme parks we have in the state.

Just remember to avoid the $12.95 a night hotels there in orlando unless, you want to see and hear the floor moving at night...
