    error FAILED the md5sum comparison

    Hello.
    Who knows anything about this message?
    System Integrity checking detected a modified system file
    centos 5.3
    php 2.5.10
    firewall csf
    If anyone knows the commands do to help resolve the problem.

    It means that the files have been modified possibly because of a recent software upgrade. Sometimes files change because they have been tampered with by an intruder. But the likelihood of the latter is slim based on the list you copy/pasted.

    anyone else experience this issue ?

    all the email i received show FAILED.
    i didnt do any software upgrades.

    Hey ,

    You can try using the chrootkit software by installing it and running that also does a similar check and compare the results for both of them
