    Cpanel webhost affiliate?

    Hi guys,

I was hoping for some recommendations. I currently have around 100 clients hosted by me and I want to transfer them elsewhere so that I don't need to handle the hosting anymore.

So I am looking for a long established webhost offering Cpanel, phone support (preferrably) and also preferrably UK based or UK telephone number.

The last requirement (I know that I am asking for a lot) is a good affiliate program which preferrably pays upfront as opposed to over a longer lenth of time.

    Thanks for your help!

You could sell them via the Offers section here on WHT. There is always lots of clients being sold off to larger comapnies.

Good suggestion, thanks Sean. Only issue is that I cannot guarantee the exact number and I do want to make it as easy as possible for the clients.

Usually if you sell the clients off, You can do it in bulk or all at seperate. If you say you have 100 clients, Then a larger company might take them off your hands and do all the hard work. Do you want to sell the clients off at a price or just freely so they can be in a new home?

Usually the person who is buying will take care of everything to make the transition as easy as possible, But there are never any guarantees that they will be perfect. I always find you can run into issues no matter how easy the transfer goes over.

I am sure that your clients will find a suitable home.

Transferring the customers to a host via an affiliate program seems complicated, and risky. I'd rather sell them all to the highest and most reputable bidder.

Unless you sell your customer base, you wont get any host paying upfront on an affiliate program, that's suicide with all the fraud around.

Thanks again for the advice. My biggest issue with finding someone on Webhostingtalk is that I need to ensure 100% that this is a well established and reputable company with 24/7 customer support to back them up.

I don't think that he wants to sell the clients. I think he wants to transfer someplace that has cPanel, will do all the work for him, but he gets the money.

Aren't affiliate payments one off? We don't normally use an affiliate system, but that's what we've based it off.

One can't just hand them over via the affiliate program. Typically, in order to be eligible for the commission, the customers would have to be directed and sign-up themselves, which would probably prompt them to just look for alternatives.

Im sure if you speak to a few providers, and talk up a deal that maybe the new provider for your clients would cut ya some commission each month for you for the clients, and still look after them, it all depends on how you want to go about this, but id speak to a provider or a few of them and talk deirectly about how or what you want done here best of luck!

Pretty much what I want to do (and I don't think that I explained myself too well earlier on) is to send my customers to another host who will take care of transferring their site over (very simple Cpanel transfer). I'm not actually looking for money upfront, what I meant is that I'd like to set up a yearly plan and take a decent sized cut from their first one year upfront payment rather than 100 small payments every month. My clients won't go elsewhere.
