    PDU scripts and power monitoring

I am looking for a script or to write some scripts that control my Tripp Lite PDU's.

I am looking at monitoring power usage and for periods 24 hours, weekly and monthly. Is this possible?

I also need to power cycle outlets or just turn them on or off. Does anyone know some good resources to acomplish either or both of these goals?

Years ago Tripp Lite used to have software called Parachute that did all that. Have you tried contacting them directly?

If the switch has SNMP access, you can use net-snmp tools (snmpget, snmpput, snmpwalk, ect). Just import the MIB library (should be supplied by tripp lite), brush up your scripting skills and you're set.
