    Hosting with RackWire or SLHost?

    We are experiencing some blacklisting with our current provider, through no fault of our own, and we are evaluating some other alternatives for our very modest website. Do any of you have experience with these firms? Happy to keep your comments confidential if you email me individually.

    Thanks - much appreciated.

    Rackwire = good
    SLhost = Go To Rackwire instead.

    LiquidHost is also very good, IMHO

    And I'm not joking.

    You know what they say; you get cheap when you buy cheap.

    Is Earthlink cheap? Either way, in the 14 years I've used them for email, I've never had an outage, and they've typically solved my own technical problems quickly. Google has, as have most of the hosters I've talked with.

    I didn't read well, they are indeed not cheap.

    I doubt it that you've monitored their E-mail servers for 14 years 24/7 with monitoring software, but hey... I could be wrong.

    I find it also odd that a CEO like you, someone you expect to make intelligent decisions, decides to get a hosting company partly based on your personal experience with their E-mail, that's like buying a car from a garage because they did descent oil changes for 14 years.

    Anyway, good luck, I do hope that you made the right decision.
