Actually here on Long Island, Cablevision just started offering I believe its called "Optimum Ultra" - Rated at 101mbps down and 15mbps up - for I believe $100 a month. This would end up costing me just an extra $55 a month to upgrade from their standard package of 15/2

Why would you want a T1, your DSL is most likely a faster connection at a cheaper price. T1 is only 1.5Mbps up/down which is very slow.

Your backup connection is slow, because it's SBC Global

I got ADSL2+ on 2 Mbps down and 512 Kbps up.

Not the best, but the fastest in my country for unmetered traffic.

Im paying £22/mo from orange for a horrific connection. 0.1mbit down, and 0.05mbit up. It's slower than bloody dial up. Normally its faster, but I've never got it over 1mbit, and I'm meant to live in 'Central London'.

It's my box racked in the datacenter via RDP.

We have a fiber connection in the office: 6Mbs guaranteed - up to 20 Mbs, and usually works in the 15 - 20Mbs range.

    Now I'm on a HSDPA/3G at home .

    BT Internet up to 8MB.

Get about 1.5MB down...not sure what the upstream speed is supposed to be.

    Speed according to router:

    Downstream 1,056 Kbps
    Upstream 448 Kbps
    Connection time 10 days, 15:45:30

I hate the bandwidth limit: 20GB a month

The way I use it, I really need to be on an unmetered connection, but my dad pays for it, and seems to think it's fine...I just need to cut down my usage apparantly....yeah right:-P

I can use up that much bandwidth in about a day on this forum alone.

Ouch, with a 20gb limit I would just block all images or else that would be gone in no time.

It doesn't help that I run an irc server on my old laptop either. That's usually on 24 hours a day unless it needs rebooting. The server and network it's linked to are low traffic, but that's likely to change soon (regarding the network at least).

Yeah, they have a 25Mbit and a 50Mbit as well for extra but this is what they give ya out here inclusive.

I have two accounts one at another house one town over and the package is worse that this, like 8 or 9 down I think.
