Oh right.. hence the reason it took over 1 minute to load this webpage over an "unmetered" speed cable connection thru them?

And it is only 10% utilized?

    I fail to see how..

    What speed are you using?
    I'm bloody fast!
using telstra 2MBit cable to Telstra
    because i'm at school

but at home, it is still fast with Cable! not 1 min! just few seconds

Yeah, normally fast for me, but for some reason tonight it is turtle-like.

I turned the comp off, pulled power from modem/router, turned back on, got new IP and all, yet for some reason it is still taken over 1 min to load this very page.

I rang Telstra and their excuse is "Our network is just busy atm".. but then Myacen tells me they utilize only 10%?

Perhaps they only use 10%, but only actually allocate 10% of the network for Telstra's customers use and the other 90% just for ziggy

It's been the same all day everywhere where there is some Williams connectivity. Run some traces and you'll see where the trouble spots are.

    Cheers
