    Sports Handicapping Web Hosting

I'm in the process of building a sports handicapping web site and I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight on a good web hosting company. Sports handicapping is basically selling sports picks to people who want to buy them.

I have been thinking about 1 and 1 web hosting and host gator. Any ideas?

I can't make any recommendations but I've dealt with this in the past when I was doing more developer work. Just be sure to let the hosting company know about your content prior to signing up. I know we had issues with hosts not liking the content...

Best of luck. The guys here should have some recommendations for you shortly.

Hostgator is popular with a lot of people on here. It has been around for a while and has pretty good pricing plans. But being a big company, some people do have issues with them here and there since it's hard to keep every client happy.

Check out the web hosting offers board for some good deals.

HostGator is recommended and a reputable provider. They should do just fine for your website.

I also cant say much about either, i hear alot about hostgator, but check around here a bit more for reviews, or in the offers section for other possibilities, do some good background checking, and maybe test out the support/sales departments , best of luck! - web/shells/ircd/shoutcast hosting!

Regardless of the content, you need to ensure that your hosting package/server can support the estimated traffic/load that you expect to see.
