Maybe try the offers section here on WHT, People sell companies and clients so that could be a shot. Had a look recently but was quite slow.

Other Offers section here, I know that SitePoint sells sites - I don't know if any providers sell their companies there.

Neither, Perhaps just knock on their doors and ask if they want to sell

What kind of company are you looking to buy in particular? You may have better luck directly contacting companies and seeing if they are interested in selling.

That is good idea Mike. But hos make sure if that particular web hosting company is going to be sold or not?

Unless you see the site advertising that it wants to be sold, generally it doesn't. I don't know that the "knock and ask" method of buying is going to work, and generally people will be less likely to sell, or if they do sell they'll want more

Actually that is what OP is asking about. Or another way to find the web site ois visit web hosting directory and then start visit every web hosting site and check if that particular web hosting company for sold or not

I would generally recommend that you find a company that you like and then contact them directly to see if they are for sale. Selling web hosting businesses is not like selling carrots in the market.
