It was an iPod who cares? Now he can get a real mp3 player like the Cowon S9/D2 or the Samsung P3

(or like pretty much any other mp3 player on the market which trumps the iPod's sound quality)

My wife fell in love with it, but she is a coke addict(coca cola). She drinks 4-5 2-liter bottles a day.

Shes diabetic, she only drinks diet and has always drank diet. At least we switched to 2 liters from 12 packs. At $1.25 each, which is usually what we can get pepsi, coke, or DDP for at any given time, it works out better than buy 2 get 3 free of 12 packs.

Actually before I met her about 5 years ago I just drank water because I never spent money on soda. Then after we moved in together I started drinking it because it was around. Eventually I added up how much I was adding and gave it up. For two days, due to the caffeine, I had a bad headache(actually this part only lasted a day), but for 2 days I a jackass, just as bad as first quitting smoking years ago for the first 2 days, just without the cravings. I still drink it now, but not much.

Sorry for stealing this thread topic, but I figure most wont believe me so I uploaded some pics. Please excuse the one with the table, the floor is a mess from making the wall(cans had stuff left in em). Took a little time. This was from 3 some years ago after we moved in together and were living in Santa Monica.

All this was done by just us two and in a short period of time.

Sorry for the sizes, I just copied em over from my album and didnt feel like shrinking em.

Dude that is not healthy I don't care if it is diet. Has she had her heart tested lately?
    She needs more water.
And I thought I was bad drinking about a liter of coke zero a day.

Does she fly or walk with that much caffeine in her?

Seek medical help. Aspertame poisoning, here she comes!

But in all seriousness, has she considered addiction counselling? 8-10L of any sort soft drink, on a regular basis, will have very serious consequences.

Sorry to the OP again for going off topic but:

    "Aspertame poisoning, here she comes"

The amount given to rats in those studies would be like giving a human, well I forget the amount, but its over 1000 sodas a day. You can look up the studies.

She is type 1 diabetic, many many type 1's drink a lot of soda. She has been to many doctors, all of various fields, and never have ever really brought it up. Trust me, its fine.

I forget how much, not nearly as much as you think. Honestly we were at least lucky that since the place we went to weighed the cans, they did not account for drip, which could take off 20%. I think at most we broke even if that. It did work out when we moved out and I tore down that wall brought cans that had hot glue all over them and they didnt care. Plus we went there twice a week with a couple of garbage bags. Maybe we got about 25 a pop or less, usually 11 a garbage can full I think which is about max.

As for the tofu, we use to eat a lot of it, mainly because it kept well. Now we have it once or twice a month. I wish my wife ate beef and pork, but she thinks they are too cute, so she wont eat them(especially pigs). So its just fish, chicken, and turkey. I will say though after cooking tofu quite a bit I am pretty good at making it taste good. Just takes practice. And that pic was taken about a month after we moved in after a costco run.
