I personally don't like it. The banner seems kind of rushed, the background image is too small for larger resolutions like mine.

On a smaller resolution monitor (1024x768) it looks OK. I like the banner, but it is a little distracting, as is the background. I would recommend using a more generic background than an image, it would make the site easier on the eyes. Otherwise it looks good, I like the boxes, and fonts and colors you used.

I didn't like the banner either. It looks like it was created by some free banner creator, and the banner says nothing about what the website is about. You know what xind.ca is, but after staring at the website for a few minutes, I still don't have the slightest idea what the website is all about.

And for the background, I have a higher resolution, and the background is centered and looks ugly.

Sorry to be harsh, but I'm trying to offer my thoughs so you can improve it

The logo/banner is definitely too big.

Your target audience appears to be somewhere in the region of 16-28 - is this right?

The site loads somewhat slowly (currently 20:30 GMT).

To be honest, it's not very appealing but perhaps it doesn't need to be.

Thank you kindly for all the input.
We've done a bunch of work, hacked it apart, started again, and hacked it apart again.
We're currently in the middle of an update, but the basic look has been updated a few times now.
    Thanks again!
