It will take a LOT longer than several days mate. It can take up to 6 months, but remember to not re-submit your site because it will simply slow the process down.

dmoz is one of the best directory and one is lucky if he gets his site submitted there. This submision can take upto several months and like xenex said, dont try to re-submit it.

I agree DMOZ can be a nice website to be listed in, but honestly... who uses this anymore?

It will take time before you can get listed on Dmoz. Sometimes you are just waiting for nothing.

Why bother trying to get a link from DMOZ even if it will get you a link in Googles directory? No one that I know uses either to find sites that they are interested in and a link is a link is a link, but it will help your links profile out.

We've been waiting 6 months for our application to be accepted and it still hasn't... so don't expect it to happen over night.

DMOZ is one of the links that will give you an edge. Be prepared to wait, and wait and wait some more - though. Y! Dir isn't bad at 299/year but BOTW as well for 299 one time, if you're serious about a site snag both it'll make a difference.

You have links you bought from both BOTW and Yahoo? You believe the link value is worth $300 a year even if you take traffic out of the equation?

So Yahoo gives you quality taffic. What about BOTW? Have you ever measured the boost you got or didn't get in the serp's? Can you choose your anchor text or is this the prescribed title and "official name" of the site?
