Ah, then go see the Royals. Tickets are probably dirt cheap.

What dates will you be at each location? This way we can recommend any local festivities if applicable.

I know a couple of local escorts, if that's of any help?

Being serious, call Joe, get drunk. OR for a real time, forget KC and drive down towards Chicago (treck or not) and get Mike Gazzerro from Ubiquity out, he's a party animal!

I used to live in Kansas City. If you can make it up to Ft. Leavenworth, that's pretty neat. If you're going up there, there's a little town called Weston, MO that's also worth swinging by; it's a little town that hasn't changed much for something like 100 years. I forget what it's called, but ask around about the Irish restaurant there, I can't remember what it's called but it's great. It's a *very* small town, people will know what you're talking about.

In Kansas City itself, you didn't visit if you didn't get BBQ. They're all great, KC Masterpiece is widely known and respected and it's right downtown. I like Arthur Bryant's and Gate's BBQ. Boulevard Brewing Co. makes the local favorite brews if you happen to be at a beer summit.

I've never cared much for Nascar, but they put a track in town a couple years ago. Not sure what their schedule looks like. There's also a minor league baseball park (I think?) next to the track and a large outdoor mall with cool fountains if you want to just blow some time wandering around. The Royals will be in town the next couple days and it's pretty easy to get tickets there.

Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun is an amusement park/water park combo that lets you wander between the parks, that's a lot of fun as well.

If you're looking to just burn some time, check out the Power and Light district.

But seriously, if you don't enjoy some barbecue while you're there, you might as well have never been in town.

What about Old Chicago? Someone recommended me to go there for bbq/beer. I'm a huge Hefenweiser fan, but it seems no one here even knows what it is.

To be honest, I never actually made it there, but I've definitely only heard good things about the place.

This should be served virtually everywhere in the region and should be palatable to any fan of Hefeweizen.

Oh, and when you get to Wichita and Topeka, you can keep yourself entertained by watching corn grow.

When you get to Topeka look up Baby Dolls. It's in the phone book. Take lots of $1's with you.
