Seems a little on the cheap site but about right considering the CPU allotted. *shrug* You can get excellent deals from reputable companies but you can also get excellent deals from horrible companies.

It would depend where you're buying it.

Well he didn't start his company yet. So most likely he would make a first month 50% off or first month free, and 30 day moneyback guarantee. Datacenter is located at Eastern Canada. Near New York.

I would buy it aslong as you dont promise no overselling. I would offer a bit less bandwidth myself for that price but thats just me.

I believe it's HyperVM, I don't remember. But does the hosting plan look attractive?

    Talking

If only one IP is sufficient for you and if you want not burstable RAM this plane is good & cheap. Good luck...

Price seems cheap, but too low prices might be also bad service. That's anyway what consumers think.

Well not necessarily overselling, but if not, they are not making much profit. But with that price it is possible to sell without loosing.

    Do the math.

From dell.com servers. For a server with this configuration.

    Quad Core Intel® Xeon® E5450, 2x6MB Cache, 3.0GHz, 1333MHz FSB
    16GB 667MHz (8x2GB), Dual Ranked DIMMs
(Two) 1TB 7.2K RPM Universal SATA 3Gbps 3.5-in HotPlug Hard Drive
    Integrated SAS/SATA RAID 1, PERC 6/i Integrated/SAS6/iR (RAID 1)

Cost: $3,586 form dell, payments from $95/month.

So look if 22 clients are on one server that totals up to $440. Subtract that from the small from the dell payments. Then there are 48U rack with a 100Mb connection. Each rack is with 2U of these servers.

That's 24u of space and bam look at the income, $10,560 per month, for a 48U full rack with 100Mb unmetered connection it costs from $3000.

So yeah look at the big profit, from only 528 vps, (probley not 528 clients but some buy 2-4 and upgrade)
