Thumbs up cPanel license provider for my Cloud server.

I am looking for a cPanel license provider for my Cloud server.

Do you know who provides the license at a cheaper rate?

    Thanks for the inputs.

    Take a look at http://www.instantcpanellicense.com

I presume a cloud server would be considered a VPS because its still a shared system so your looking at $15 a month.

Thanks Rob. But I have heard of providers offering VPS Cpanel license for $11-$12. Any idea if that is true?

11 - 12usd may be internal license prices depending on who your provider is... If they are a partner NOC then you will be able to get licenses much cheaper.

I contacted Rackspace for a Cloud server but they don't provide any internal license. All I heard was that, external Cpanel license costs around $15.00.

I am planning for a cloud server with Cpanel license for testing (don't need a demo license though). Any affordable Cloud providers like RackSpace, who offers an Internal Cpanel license?

Or any External Cpanel license provider who is cheaper?

Thanks Rob.. Running Plesk CP might take more CPU than a Cpanel/WHM server, so I will buy a Cpanel license from an external license provider.

You'd be suprised to see that Plesk actually uses less resources then cPanel

if you are just out to test something, then get a trial cpanel. Some cloud providers has preinstalled cpanel images, so you can setup your cpanel server in seconds fully installed and ready to rock.

If you'd like something really lightweight, you should consider ISPmanager PRO. It's a very nice setup that works well for 'light' servers.

There is a "partners" page on cpanel.net - you'll find a good cPanel reseller there. If you're choosing between Plesk and cPanel, definitely go with cPanel. You'll have too much grief with Plesk, and looking at where the company is going (Parallels), Plesk prices are only set to grow.

Exactly what I am on. Rackspace Cloud + cPanel VPS license from instantcpanellicense. $15 was the cheapest external I could fine.

http://cpaneldirect.net/ has cpanel license for $34 per month

They also offer one support ticket per month which is important. Cpanel's support is great.

cPanelDirect offers one (1) support request per license per month at no charge. Support packages may be purchased at an additional charge. cPanelDirect focuses on end users looking for instant activation of a license through our control panel. Please see our cPanel Wiki
